Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Santonio Holmes was charged early Monday with assaulting a woman, his second arrest since he was chosen in the first round of the NFL draft.Apparently the Steelers have something against wearing a helmet!
Holmes was arrested at an apartment just after midnight and taken to the Franklin County jail, Sgt. Loucious Hollis said. The 22-year-old player is to remain in jail until his arraignment Tuesday on charges of domestic violence and simple assault, both misdemeanors...
Before the April draft, Holmes said he hoped he would be a top pick so he could support his three children.

Another Pittsburgh Steeler in troublewith the law:
Quick Look
At today's news.
I found the issue that is of least importance to any Republican: Waste Oil Dumps Threaten Towns in Northern Iraq.
Come on. Really? An environmental issue in Iraq that we're supposed to care about?!?!?! The only way this becomes an issue is if an engineering company like Haliburton is bidding to clean it up.
Don't think for a second there's not a lobbyist out there who was previously working for Homeland Security, now lobbying for a specific company to clean it up. There is.
This series of articles in the Times having to do with former government employees parlaying their service into high paying jobs is going to create BIG NOISE. BIG NOISE! Riiiiight.
Give them our money, and bring in the Jesus, and they'll all look the other way. Besides, these moral and ethical Bush supporters would do the same things all these former government employees are doing. I know this because they support it. They support the wars and now the profiteering, which only shows me they're as dishonest as those who are actually making big bucks on all of this. This is why they pray tp Jesus: they need forgiveness.
I'm telling you, if the conservatives of today can find a way to profit on environmental cleanup then you'll see them at the forefront.
Another beaut is the N. Norean missile test. Just one step closer to the "missile defense" debate that was oh-so-necessary in 2000. It's a slow build, but I'm within 18 months missile defense will be a primary issue for sure...again.
Finally, getting away from all this crap, I can't deal with the yellow cards in the World Cup. Watching Zidane receive a yellow, quite possibly ending his international career was so disappointing. Not le, horribleonly wasn't it a card on ZZ, but it should have been a foul on the Korean. Horrible, horrible, horrible.
The US, that was another debacle. I agreed with the first two red cards, but the one issue to Eddie Pope was a nightmare. Still, the US needs to SCORE A GOAL!!!
Valiant effort.
Oh, wait, wait, Colin Montgomerie and Phil Mickelson, you guys have great tits. Join the womens' tour.
