As He Told us Before

Staying the course
President Bush, on a collision course with Congress over Iraq, said Friday "I'm the decision-maker" about sending more troops to the war. He challenged skeptical lawmakers not to prematurely condemn his buildup.

"I've picked the plan that I think is most likely to succeed," Bush said in an Oval Office meeting with senior military advisers.

He did say it'd be easier if he was a dictator...this is so much different than that.

It's Amazing

I'm not sure when this White House reached the heights of absurdity they're at right now, but watching Tony Snow last night on MSNBC makes me wonder whether it was the day he took the post of White House Press Secretary. I mean, they were always ridiculous, but I feel that since that time they've really gone into fully ridiculous/clueless mode, and watching him just confirms that me.

I also happened to catch FOX News after Bush's speech. They were running a poll asking "What did you think of the President's Speech?" A) Excellent B) Average C) Poor. A) 89%!!!

This morning I just saw James Boyce, a Democratic strategist on MSNBC, debating a Republican Strategist on Iraq. It was the same nonsense, etc, with the Democratic at least making some point. The final word on the matter, and I kid you not, was from the Republican, "We cannot cut and run. We must stay the course. We have to help Iraqis stand up so we can stand down."

It's really fucking incredible.

Just Wondering...

Now that Hillary is running for President I ask myself:

Do you think she gives a good blow job?

And

Do you think she'd be the first President to ever give one?

Interesting questions.

I'd bet she does, but maybe not as good as Obama.
