Of all the names being mentioned as Mr. McCain’s potential running mate, Piyush “Bobby” Jindal, the 36-year-old first-term governor of Louisiana, is not only the youngest and least experienced, but also the only one who is not white. Yet in a year in which Democratic voters have raised few objections to such traditional “obstacles,” Mr. Jindal may be especially attractive as Republicans seek a way to offset the “post-racial” and youthful appeal of Senator Barack Obama.Guy has such a track record. Why shouldn't he be VP?

Republicans for Obama!
You may not have picked up on this movement underway, but apparently a lot of Republicans support Obama. I say this because they all seem to support CHANGE!
I was stunned this weekend to hear Karl Rove suggest it himself on FOX NEWS:
I could have sworn Dubya fixed Health Care under your guidance!
Energy? You mean things are going well? Please, things are going great!
Jobs? Just play with the unemployment numbers some more, like every President before you. But make sure you never extend benefits.
College Education? Tax cuts, of course. Like you have another idea? Leave No College Student Behind. Sounds great.
In other words, four of the biggest issues affecting Americans were not fixed under George W. Bush, with your guidance, and a Republican Congress and court in 6 years. YOU SHOULD WANT CHANGE!
Then there's this piece in the New Yorker suggesting conservatives have run out of ideas. I'm sure many of you who are interested will read the refutations by your goose-steppers before you finish the article. But I say it's even a stretch to call their suggestions "ideas."

ROVE: But look. The Republicans have got three things they need to do strategically and three things they need to do tactically.Where to begin, scumbag, where to begin?
Strategically, they better get their act together with an aggressive agenda of reform here at home about the things people are talking around the kitchen table.
What are the Republicans going to do about health care? What are they going to do about providing reliable and affordable energy? What are they going to do about jobs and keeping our economy innovative and competitive, encouraging exports? What are we going to do about helping people grapple with the cost of college education?
We've got great answers, Republicans do, on this, but they better get their act together in laying this out in a comprehensive way.

McStutter
I'm listening to McCain give a speech on Cuba, etc, and in all seriousness, the guy sounds like an old man who has been studying bullet points.
Oh, the debates, those will be interesting.
McCain has reached the age that when you fart you just never know what's going to happen.
Other than getting words wrong, and just sounding ridiculous, he does take a stance, and again, that stance is retarded: HE WEILL NOT TALK TO FOREIGN LEADERS WE DISAGREE WITH!
That's it! He will not talk to them! So as relations deteriorate, and the world sees us as harsher and dumber, he will continue on that road.
That's his thing!

Coming Around?
I think conservatives are finally coming around to supporting John McCain:
So it begs the question, if Jesus was able to run...
Columbus — Georgia Republican Party chairwoman Sue Everhart said Saturday that the party's presumed presidential nominee has a lot in common with Jesus Christ.
"John McCain is kind of like Jesus Christ on the cross," Everhart said as she began the second day of the state GOP convention. "He never denounced God, either."
Everhart was praising McCain for never denouncing the United States while he was being tortured as a prisoner of war in Vietnam.
"I'm not trying to compare John McCain to Jesus Christ, I'm looking at the pain that was there," she said.
So it begs the question, if Jesus was able to run...
