Francesca...

The genius...

Earlier this season, it may have been the first Jets game he started against the Dolphins, Brett Favre threw the ball, or should I say, hoisted the ball down the sideline to Jericho Cotchery, who made the grab. It took all of his might to get it there.

Next day, WFAN, Mike Francesca, going on and on and on about "Favre has one of the all-time arms...not a lot of guys are making that throw, okay! He makes that throw, okay. Not a lot of guys are making that throw, okay. That's a legendary throw right there, okay. That's why you signed him.......okay?" (I'm never really sure if the "okay" is a question or an exclamation).

Meanwhile, I remember thinking during the throw, "man, that motherfucker has no arm left! he could hardly throw it 50 yards!" According to Francesca it was like 60+, and legendary.

It was actually 52 yards in the air, and there's not a single NFL QB other than Chad Pennington who cannot throw it that far. In fact, I'm sure he could too. Jamarcus Russell can make that throw from his knees, no joke (to the wrong guy...okay...)

If ever there was a guy who needed to put down the lube jar it's Mike Francesca.

Just one more case of this clown not having a clue about how to analyze something he is witnessing. I'm not talking about what he knows, or what he was told, but how he handles something he sees. Lately he's been talking about Favre's, or should I say "Faaahhv'z" weak arm.

Brett Favre has no arm.

The Jets are better today with Pennington, and there's a decent to good chance they'd be as good with Kellen Clemens. Sorry, but that's how I see it.

If the Jets had drafted Eli, who wasn't much more impressive than Clemens early on, would he be benched for Favre? If Justin Mcaerins had held on to one of those passes versus the Ravens last year, would Clemens be the QB?

Questions, okay.!?

Obviously

Plaxico Burress is a huge jackass, but I'm not sure why mentioning he had a suitcase full of money in his home, when it's not illegal to have and is unconnected to the case, is a legit piece of reporting.

Why not report on what movies he watches, or what prescription drugs he takes?
Burress was not at home during the search by Totowa police, the NYPD and officials from the Manhattan District Attorney's office -- though sources said his wife was at home. Brafman said his client is "out of town" but did not elaborate.

Also found in the search -- but not seized, since it was unconnected to any criminal allegations -- was a suitcase full of money.
Seems a bit wrong to me.
