Rush Limbaugh disparaging President Obama and the Nobel Peace.
The first positive recognition by the world of the US in ages, and this is how some conservatives look at it.
Truth is, I get it. Essentially the prize is for the rejection of all the things Republicans have stood for internationally the previous 8 years, and Obama receives the award out of the hope he'll transition away from those things. Those ideas and actions represent the things Limbaugh and others have stood for.
Most of the world rejects US Republicans as a whole, and that's a fact.
Does he deserve the award? Nope. That's not the point though. It's the international community thanking the United States, not Obama. Thanking the US for reengaging, breaking barriers, and hopefully moving forward in our efforts to be a better nation.
It's a rejection of Bush.
