Not what I do edition of the Rush Limbaugh show: ST. LOUIS -- Published and broadcast reports say radio personality Rush Limbaugh and St. Louis Blues owner Dave Checketts are joining together in a bid to purchase the St. Louis Rams.
This is comical for a few reasons.
First, I heard the Limbaugh showed for 25 seconds yesterday, literally, and he was discussing football. Saying something to the effect, "Man, I hope Favre has a good game and doesn't throw it to the wrong team! Make sure you throw it to the guys in White!" I guess he doesn't realize the home team usually wears the colors...
Second, and more importantly, when Obama came into office, Limbaugh did an entire thing about how sports owners were going to sell their franchises because of tax reasons. How the Dolphins were going up for sale because it's no longer a good investment!
And on, and on, and on, and on...
Well, I guess it's not such a bad investment.
Or, maybe, for personal and sympathetic reasons, he just wants to be in control of the stadium the St. Louis Rams play in. After all, it is the home of one of America's greatest moments: THE FIRST FREE SPEECH ZONE!!!
