Imagine

You are a customer sales rep for an airline. After speaking with a customer for 5 minutes (20 minutes on hold), it is your job to tell the customer he/she "could find a cheaper fare on our website, www.#$%^$W^%^%^airlines.com."

In other words, it's your job to help customers help the company phase out your own job.

That's inspiring.

So

I know I have seriously cut down on the number of posts in recent months, and that's probably not going to change much the next few. The reasons are many, and I'm sure many of you share those reasons.

As of late the only thing of real interest to me is the conflict in Gaza, but what's there to really say? It's a conflict which will never end for a host of reasons, none of which I really want to get into right now. What I will say, and what I've always believed is if the Palestinians gave up their weapons, no one would die. If the Jews in Israel did, they all would. That's not even an opinion, but rather, a fact.

When political groups in Gaza have drawn maps wherein Israel doesn't even exist, it's pretty obvious.

Think what you want. Think Israel is oppressive, because they are, I agree. But this doesn't change the fact that this conflict is a racist war with the only end for one side being the removal of the other.

Frankly speaking, if the people in Gaza cannot control their own citizens then you are getting what you deserve. If the millions of Arabs in that part of the world cannot control the supply of weapons, technology, and lives going toward the destruction of one group of people, then again, you are getting what you deserve. If you cannot live in peace, and will not except a truce, sorry, it's on you. Again, the response is enormous, but what else can be done? This has been going on my whole life!

Sidenote: I've always loved how all of these Arab nations refuse to take refugees. Moving on.

Other than this op, I would like to thank those who have read this blog for the last however many years. You have kept me motivated, even the idiots who can never give an opinion. Yes, you too. Your bad jokes, and inability to use logic and/or reason have been invaluable to me. To know my comments have run so deep that you cannot even conjure up your own arguments, but rely on really bad humor (not even dirty, just bad), and anger is a perfect. You have kept me humming.

This blog was initially created as an outlet for me to get my thoughts on paper, as I was conducting my radio shows. It was a way for me to formulate ideas, and have a place to easily locate them. Never did I think it would help me get a job/gig/etc. Well guess what? It has. So for all your jokes about "wasting time", or "get a job", etc, never realizing I have a job, and knew I wasn't wasting time, you are wrong yet again. This blog has helped me achieve an opportunity to write something great.

I'm not going to divulge what that "something great" is at this time, but I will say I'm leaving this Thursday to travel to another part of the world, for a considerable amount of time, to write a book. A book I'm being paid to write, about a person I really respect, having to do with something I really love. I'll be gone on and off for the next 2-3 months.

I will continue to post from time to time, when I'm feeling the urge, but truth is, I'll be working hard, and in a place where I think the stress will be minimal.

So again, thanks for reading, keep reading, keep up the oft-lame comments, and the random nice emails, etc, for it's appreciated.

And lucky for me, since I don't edit, and rarely reread this blog, someone will be editing for me.

BeLOW Me.
