I was thinking to myself a few weeks ago how the Kobe era is coming to a close, and how there aren't many superstars out there the Lakers could snag going forward. Then it occurred to me there was one: Carmelo Anthony.

And it seems they are now making moves to acquire him, which would crush the Knicks.

Melo's wife may want to be in New York, but I'm sure the two of them will be just fine in Los Angeles.

The Lakers always find a way to get these deals done, and I'm assuming they will manage to get it done again, or will at least force the Knicks to give away much more than they wanted to.
